How is faith manifested and lived out? It is not the amount of faith, but the object of faith. What or more importantly who you have your faith …IN! Gideon needed help to build up his faith. God used the paradox of reductions as Gideon, and me/you, need to know it is God not you. God uses the dream of a Midianite to encourage Gideon trust in God is what he really needed. Furthermore, when Jesus teaches on faith, he acts out a parable with a fig tree to demonstrate the exact same premise.
