What is Alpha?
A place to explore
Alpha is an opportunity to explore the big questions of life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. We intentionally create a relaxed and low-pressured atmosphere so no question is ‘off the table’ and everyone is welcome. Alpha has been running all over the world for the last couple of decades in churches, pubs, prisons & homes where nearly 30 million people have taken part and loved the experience.
What happens at Alpha?
Talks that make you think
Alpha runs across 9 sessions. Each week there will be an engaging 25min film on various topics. After you’ve watched you’ll join others to engage in an open, honest discussion. We run Alpha online and on-site in Solihull, Chelmsley Wood and Stratford – so you choose the group that is best for you!
People just like you
In your Alpha group you will meet people just like you, some who follow Jesus, some who are exploring and even a few who are sceptical! Alpha is a safe place to build friendships, ask the Big questions of life, such as Why I am here? What is my purpose? Why is there suffering? There is no pressure to believe, change opinions or contribute – you can say as little or as much as you would like!
