What is Baby Basics?
Baby Basics Renewal is part of the Baby Basics UK network of volunteer led centres aiming to support new mothers and families who are struggling to meet the financial and practical burden of looking after a new baby.
We are currently connecting with professionals to raise awareness to this provision and taking donations from the local community.
How Can You Support?
We accept new and excellent condition pre-loved items and gift them to families who need them most.
We aim to show “Love in Action” by giving a Gift of a Moses Basket, which is high quality, to say that the Mum and her Newborn Baby matter, to us and our Community.
The Moses Basket provides a safe place for her baby to sleep. For some Mums, this is the only gift that they will receive. Occasionally, we may be unable to use donated items, in which case we will strive to pass them on to other organisations or sell the item to help us fund support for local families.
Please check our current Wish List for items we currently need, if an item is not on the list it means we are currently well stocked.
We are unable to offer a collection service but there is parking available outside our church building and a member of the team will be happy to help you unload and carry items from your car.
