Pastor Justyn brings us Part 1 of 5 – of our brand new Gideon series!
What are we afraid of? What do we look too? In the story of Gideon, because the people fear, or worship, the idols of the Amorites, the stop listening to God. God hands them over to the Midianites, and eventually, after hiding in the hills and caves for seven years – they cry out to God to come and rescue them. When we fear the wrong things, we look to the wrong things to come and help us – but when we realised that God is the one we should fear, and call on Him, he comes and sits with us and starts to work with us for our freedom.
