I love being part of Renewal and being with people with a different upbringing and culture to me. I find hearing their stories so fascinating, but what I love even more than this is that we have Jesus in common and we are genuine family.

Brummie Dean came to Renewal in 1991 and volunteered in FaithBuilders for 18 years before coming onto staff in 2014. He has a huge heart for children, considering it a privilege to help guide young people on their faith journey. A keen sports fan, Dean loves to watch sports live or on TV. He has also become a regular at the gym since his leg amputation in 2017, and clocks up around 20 miles a week as a full-time prosthetic user. In his spare time, Dean is an avid theatre goer but his perfect evening is eating chocolate and watching the Antiques Roadshow.
